Larchmont Engineering & Irrigation Irrigation – Drainage Pumps – Landscape Lighting Position Available: Truck Driver – Delivery –Warehouse Assistance About the Job Drive truck or van with less than 26,000 GVW, primarily to deliver or pick up merchandise, and assist other areas of warehouse operations Larchmont is committed to building a winning culture and we highly value the working experience and future potential of all our employees. Major Duties • Drive vehicles with capacities under three tons in order to transport merchandise • Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment • Load and unload trucks, vans, etc. secure all loads, and assist to pull orders as required • Verify contents of inventory loads with shipping documents on pickups and deliveries • Assist warehouse operations as required to include stocking shelves and yard organization • DOT medical certification You should possess the following experience and skills for success: • Be highly motivated • Excellent driving record • Ability to lift 50 lbs • Knowledge of public safety and security guidelines in operation of vehicles Requirements: Applicant must have, • A minimum of 2 years’ experience with driving trucks, or vans, and delivery operations • Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to analyze and solve problems • Employee must be a self-starter with strong work ethic as well as a team player Benefits: We offer a competitive compensation package which includes • Comprehensive Medical • Vacation • Sick Pay • 401K Plan • Paid Holidays Larchmont is a leader in distribution of irrigation, drainage, pumps & landscape lighting for over 65 years serving the New England area.
