$1,000.00 SIGN UP BONUS Driver will be paid 20% of the weekly gross load as he/she will receive rate con. Other advantages could be discussed and agreed upon, like bonuses, performance bonuses, TONU, detention and others. Including major medical, supplemental, life insurance, vision, dental and retirement services. Additional 5% of weekly gross will contribute to benefits listed above. You are expected to: - Be dispatched on an agreed upon timeframe to meet company quota - Transport goods over the road from/to various points in the country - Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and abide to the preventative maintenance program established by company - Be punctual and Proactive - Respect and adopt rate con communication procedures - Collect and verify delivery instructions - Read, respect and abide by rules and instructions agreed upon within the company policy, communication guidelines, regulations and state federal laws - Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts - Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions - Report defects, accidents or violations - Protect equipment for top performance - Protect your life and the life of bystanders Requirements: - At least 2 years experience - Have driven in multiple states and weather conditions - Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc) - Endorsements are a plus - No more than 1 moving violation in the last 3 years - No more than 1 at-fault accident in the last 3 years - Employment Consistency - Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly - Flexibility in time especially with unexpected changes - Punctuality is the most important required quality - Responsible and Proactive - Mechanically inclined is a plus - Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations - Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc) - Valid truck driving license - Willing, able to be subjected to drug and alcohol test
