Truck driver Job in Riverside, California

CalTex Logistics is hiring a professional and dependable CDL Class A driver. This position involves the driving of a Dodge Ram Dually 3500 truck, with a 40' gooseneck flatbed trailer with ramps. This is a OTR position so you must be willing to be on the road weeks at a time, we send you where the $$$ is. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age; and must be able to read, write and speak English. Applicants must meet the Department of Transportation (DOT) mental and physical requirements. Must be willing and able to perform all essential job functions which include, but are not limited to, quality control, provide excellent customer service to all customers, vendors, and associates, be a team player and comply with all company policies and procedures.

Requirements (at a minimum):
• Valid CDL Class A License
• Must have at least two (2) years of experience driving hotshot
• Clean 3-year MVR Report

Essential Job Functions:
• Accurately load and unload freight for delivery, if needed
• Assist with unloading products at time of delivery, if needed
• Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights
• Maintain an accurate count of rolls when loading and unloading
• Perform daily vehicle inspection
• Accurately complete necessary paperwork
• Maintain accurate records and logs
• Report any customer concerns or issues with delivery
• Adhere to all safety requirements
• Sit for extended periods of time in a truck
• Walk and stand for extended periods of time on various surfaces that may be uneven or slippery (including working outdoors in inclement weather)
• Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel


Compensation is based on experience
20- 27% Per load
