Truck Driver Job in Orlando, Florida

We are looking for a Driver to transport commodities in a safe and timely manner. Driver responsibilities include arranging regular cleaning and maintenance for the vehicle, planning each route based on road and traffic conditions. Ultimately, you will help us increase customer satisfaction, making sure clients depend on us for their transportation needs. To be considered for this role, you should have a valid commercial driver’s license with at least 5 years of experience, be able to stay on the road in between 15 and 20 days and a clean driving record with no traffic violations, knowledge with Reefer and dry Van. Owner Operators are welcome! Responsibilities Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip Assist shippers/receivers when needed with loading and unloading Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up-to-date on road conditions Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed Answer customer's questions about location, ETA's and related actions Ensure truck and trailer both clean in between loads Schedule regular truck service appointments and report any issues Skills Proven experience as a CDL driver A valid commercial driver’s license A clean driving record Medical Card active and valid Familiarity with GPS devices Knowledge of area roads Availability to occasionally take weekend and night shifts A polite and professional disposition Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour) * Earnings starting at 20%.
