Truck Driver Job in Vancouver, British Columbia

We are looking to hire full-time drivers to work our waste and recycling routes Monday - Friday, morning start The candidate will be eligible for full medical and dental benefits after 3 months and, monthly team performance bonuses. Job requirements: - Driving a 3-5 tonne truck throughout the lower mainland; - Collecting recycling or organic waste materials from office properties; - Responding to dispatched emergency pick-up, new bin drops and other daily service requests; - Driving, operating and maintaining our fleet of vehicles (3-5 tonne trucks); - Using dispatch devices to track service stops and update your routes; - Driving and parking in high traffic areas Position Requirements - Physical strength (you may be required to lift heavy items); - A valid BC Driver's license or equivalent (minimum Class 5); - Clean Driving record (5 year history with no accidents); - Eligible to work in Canada (work Visas accepted); - Comfortable with drug testing and must pass a criminal background check; - Must be comfortable getting a little dirty; - Be customer service focused. Compensation: Hourly rate paid based on a $16/ hour wage, daily shifts are between 7-9 hours with increases based on performance Our company will be expanding for the next few years therefore, advancement opportunities are available.
