OTR Truck Driver Connect The Dots Logistics, LLC is a small family owned company that takes pride in bringing that family oriented approach to our company and our employees. We are looking for a safe, experienced and professional OTR driver to join our team. We are a "Fair Chance" employer, that implements Fair Chance hiring practices when performing background checks. Position requirements are as follows: Must be at least 23 years of age High school diploma or GED is preferred Must have at least 2 years of OTR truck driving experience Must have no more than 1 moving violation in the last 3 years (this includes personal vehicles) No more than 1 at-fault accident in the last 3 years (this includes personal vehicles) Must have a job history that shows stability No DWI, OWI, DWI or drug conviction in the past 10 years No positive drug screens Must have a valid class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) HAZMAT Recommended but NOT required Must be able to speak, read and write in the english language Must have a flexible schedule and be able to adapt to last minute schedule changes Must be punctual and on-time Ability to drive up to 11 hours in a 24-hr period if needed Must be a team player Job responsibilities are as follows: Transport and deliver freight over the road at long distances in a safe, efficient and timely manner Maintaining USDOT-required Electronic Log Device records and/or logbook detailing the hours traveled, rest periods, miles covered, as well as all fuel, repair and toll expenses Perform routine USDOT-required pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure that all equipment and mechanical systems are in good working order Ability to perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects/repairs to company personnel Report ANY and ALL safety incidents to company personnel Carefully planning routes to ensure that deliveries are completed on schedule and in a timely manner Represent Connect the Dots Logistics, LLC and the trucking industry in a respectful and professional manner Compensation: Driver is paid 20% of weekly total gross (Weekly average $1100-$16... ) Driver is paid weekly (starting with 1 week in the hole) Full-time employees receive medical insurance coverage Independent Contractor/Owner Operators (1099) Type of Freight: Dry Vans Reefer Flatbed This Job is ideal for someone who is: Dependable/reliable Detail oriented People oriented Achievement oriented Adaptable/flexible (works well doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction) COVID-19 Precautions: Remote interview process Personal protective equipment provided and required Adhere to all social distancing protocols Virtual meetings Follows sanitizing, disinfectant and cleaning processes Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $1,200.00... per week quarterly and annual bonuses
