Job Description: Pay; Average truck drivers will earn $44,700 (... cpm @ 2050 miles per week = $860 weekly gross or $44,700 annual W2.) Truck Drivers have the potential to earn $48,000 (... cpm @ 2370 miles per week = $995 weekly gross or $51,700 annual W2) Pay scale for NEW commercial drivers coming into orientation: 0-2 Years-$.420 2-3 Years-$.425, 3-4 Years-$.430, 4-5 Years-$.435, 5 Years-$.440 All Truck Drivers get .005 increase per year til they top out at 0.455 $14 per hour detention pay after the first 1 1/2 hours 6 months experience required in the last year or 12 months experience in the last 5 years required. HAZMAT required 60 days after going to orientation. Shift: Truck Drivers will normally run Friday - Tuesday. Days off will be Wednesday & Thursday. THIS IS A REGIONAL POSITION. All local truck drivers come from our current regional fleet when there are LOCAL openings. . No riders allowed. Trucks are parked @ 705 RUSKIN DR FOREST PARK GA 30297 for time off Truck Drivers do not go home right after orientation they will stay for Ramp Specific Training After Orientation: Commercial Drivers go through a 1 day JBI Orientation and then 1 day on the truck with a trainer. We will send them out for additional days if they need it. The pay is $14 an hour for ALL drivers will get a truck in orientation and stay over in Atlanta for a couple of days for Intermodal specific training. They will then get routed thru the house to load the truck. Additional Details:Regional Non-Dedicated First Seat Hauling containers in and out of the Atlanta rail yards to customers within an 300 mile radius of Atlanta running in GA, SC, TN, AL, but also dip a little into MS, NC, and FL. . 70% of the freight is drop and hook.30% will be live unload and / or live load. ALL NO TOUCH TO THE TRUCK DRIVER Truck Drivers are out all week, but could get by the house occasionally during the week. There are LOCAL driving positions that are available if you live within 45 miles of Atlanta when they become available after being on the regional run for 90 days .
