Location: Dallas Texas Job Type: Contract Overview: We are looking for a reliable and experienced Dry Van Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong safety record, experience driving dry van trucks, and a commitment to timely and efficient delivery of goods. This role involves transporting a variety of cargo, ensuring the safe handling of goods, and maintaining high standards of professionalism. Key Responsibilities: • Operate a dry van truck to transport from various locations. • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. • Ensure Shipment is properly loaded and secured to prevent damage during transit. • Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations. • Maintain accurate delivery logs, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery receipts. • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members. • Manage and document any issues or delays during transportation. • Assist with unloading delivery points as needed. Qualifications: • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL-A) with a clean driving record. • should have at least 2 years of working experience as CDL-A truck driver proven. experience driving dry van trucks. • Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations. • Ability to handle and secure cargo properly. • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. • Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic. • Ability to lift and move heavy items if required.
