Responsibilities • Safely pick up and deliver loads on time • Properly operate electronic log system • Report any issues or incidents directly to the company • Inspect truck before and after trip • Communicate effectively with shippers and consignees and dispatch • All Paperwork (POD/BOL) will need to be texted to dispatch Requirements • DOT Medical Card • TWIC Card & Valid Passport (Preferred) • Must be at least 21 years of age • Commercial driver's license / Must have a clean record • NO DUI's • No positive drug or alcohol tests or refusal to test ever recorded • Felony and misdemeanor charges reviewed case by case • Previous experience in hotshot truck driving - 2 years preferred • Flatbed experience ( Ability to secure loads, chain, and tarp if needed) • Ability to handle physical workload • Strong work ethic • Comfortable using smartphone, texting and email • Must possess great time management skills and communication skills • Ability to lift at least 30 pounds • Must be a quick thinker • Basic math skills
