Truck Driver Job in Lino Lakes, Minnesota

All materials are prepackaged for loading. Routes are Tuesday - Friday (10 hours per day). Home every night. Start time is 5:00am/6:00am. 2 weeks vacation The cdl truck driver is responsible for transporting product to the customer, and for loading, unloading and inventorying of product warehoused at NAC Branch Locations. Employee should strive to promote customer relations, maintain equipment, and complete all required reports. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS): • Transport outbound orders from the distribution center to customers in assigned area • Pickup inbound orders from suppliers and transport them to the distribution center or customer location as required. • Use forklift and/or electric pallet jack to load and secure shipments and placard each transport vehicle properly. • Conduct daily vehicle inspections pre- and post-trip as well as identify, report, and record safety defects. • Review all shipping documents and ensure they are accurate. • Obtain customers’ signatures on paperwork at the time of delivery. • Complete driver logs and other required paperwork. • Maintain licenses and permits in the vehicle permit book. REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS • Must possess valid Class A Driver’s License with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years) • 2 Years of CDL Truck Driving, Class A Experience • Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements Required • Experience using forklift and electric pallet jack
