Truck Driver Job in Taylor, Michigan

We are contracted to a leading expedite and transportation solutions provider. OTR interstate runs. We are seeking an OTR Class A CDL Driver to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). Pay is based on the number of runs completed. Receive a percentage of profit from the truck. The more runs completed, the more pay! Headquarters is out of Taylor, MI. You'll need to be comfortable driving long distances and have experience of interstate routes. You will be responsible for ensuring the truck is always kept in good condition, loading and unloading your cargo carefully and driving safely and efficiently. In return, I'm offering $500.00 per load. If you think you have what it takes to join my team, please message me. Interstate driver experience and a valid truck driving license are essential. Qualifications: • Commercial driver's license with HAZMAT endorsement. • Ability to drive manual transmission. • Tractor-trailer applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of verifiable over-the-road/interstate tractor-trailer experience in the last 4 years. • No more than 2 moving violations in the last 24 months or 3 in the last 36 months, no more than 2 preventable or 1 DOT recordable accidents in the last 36 months • No DUI convictions in the past 5 years and no more than 1 lifetime. No convictions ever in a CMV • No more than 1 serious violation as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (such as reckless driving or speeding greater than 15 miles per hour over the limit) is allowed in the last 3 years. • Must have valid DOT physical (long form and card) with a minimum of 3 months before expiration. All others will be required to take a new DOT physical. • Pass Drug Screening (pre-employment). • Social Security Card • DD214 if served in U.S. Armed Forces during the past 3 years. • Nationwide cell phone (maintained operable and functional) • Speak, Read, Write, and understand English proficiently.
