Truck Driver Job in Paddock Lake, Wisconsin

We have a very small, family-owned trucking company in southeastern Wisconsin near the Illinois state line. When we say "very small" we mean it-2 OTR trucks and 3 sand/gravel seasonal trucks. We are looking for CDL-A drivers (just like every other trucking company). 3 driving positions available: OTR Reefer-Volvo w/ automatic trans OTR Reefer-Volvo w/ manual trans Local Sand/Gravel (seasonal)-Mack w/ automatic trans We believe in fair compensation for our employees. We’re not just saying that to suck up to prospective hires. When we make more, our drivers make more (this is the way it should be). We also recognize that our drivers are people, not commodities. Company driver (W2) positions. Health insurance available after 60 days. Performance bonuses available. Performance reviews at 90 days-6 months-1 year. We're looking for drivers with clean MVRs, at least 2-3 years of CDL-A driving experience, a clean drug screen, valid med card, and sense of pride in the equipment they are using (keep it clean, etc.). OTR Drivers: Well-qualified drivers can earn up to $0.90/mile (all miles), pre-tax per diem pay, paid vacation time after 1 year. Home time weekly (if desired). Outbound loads generally originate from locations between Milwaukee and Chicago. We usually keep our trucks running east of the Mississippi, mostly south or in the Midwest: Carolinas, Georgia, Virginia, western Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, Texas (eastern), Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota. We’ve never sent a truck west of Texas/Oklahoma/Kansas, and we don’t plan to. Willing to work with drivers to set up a schedule that works for everyone. Extra credit for drivers with experience running reefer freight and using ELDs, tanker endorsement, and/or an interest in building a career with us. Sand & Gravel/Local Driver: $24-28/hour. Majority of work will be located in/between SE Wisconsin (Kenosha, Racine, Walworth, Jefferson, Waukesha, and Milwaukee Counties) and Northern Illinois (Lake, McHenry, possibly northern Cook Counties).
