Truck Driver Job in Franklin Park, Illinois

Must have High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Must have a safe driving record. Must have Class A or B Commercial Driving License. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening to be considered. Must have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and strong customer service skills. Job Requirements: Operates mixer for delivery of concrete. Must be able to navigate to and from jobsite. Knowledge of the local major roadways and truck routes required Maintains personal safety and those around the truck while preventing damage to the truck and property. Performs daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and related equipment for operation and safety. Keeps truck in good condition and clean inside and outside by adhering to truck checkout and cleaning procedures. Completes washout procedures both during and at end-of-day; cleans truck after delivery to prevent concrete from hardening in mixer and on the truck. Add admixtures to load as required. Ability to deal with the office and customers in a diplomatic matter, in a variety of situations. Reports all mechanical problems with equipment to the proper individual(s) and assist in repair. Performs a variety of other duties assigned by the office or plant operator relative to the plant, truck, and grounds. May require some heavy lifting
