Applicant would play a pivotal role as a driver joining a small business with a family-feel. Applicant must comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company procedures. CDL TRUCK DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES: Driver is expected to manage vehicle in a safe operating condition Driver should be familiar with ELD system Manages logs and records as per DOT regulations Delivers load with good customer service and attention to detail Adheres to laws on commercial vehicle operation as per Federal, State and local authorities Inspects truck, trailer and materials for safety Checks and troubleshoot vehicles. Always ensure your vehicle is kept clean Maintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, change oil, tire pressure, repairs, etc Perform pre trip and post trip inspections Proficient using GPS and other routing systems Physically and mentally fit Skilled at driving and parking large, heavy vehicles Able to lift up to 50 pounds Self-starter who works well independently CDL TRUCK DRIVER QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must have commercial driver’s license (Class A CDL) Applicant must be 23 years of age (as required by insurance policy) Applicant must have 2 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience, within the past 5 years Applicant must not have more than 1 moving violations in the last 3 years No At-Fault Accidents in the last 2 years Applicant must not have DUI, DWI in the last 5 years
