Truck Driver Job in Exton, Pennsylvania

Shannon Chemical Corporation is seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Class A Hazmat Certified Driver to join our team. This role involves a mix of local and over-the-road (OTR) deliveries, typically requiring two nights out in the truck per week. Our drivers ensure the safe and timely delivery of hazardous materials to our customers while maintaining compliance with all DOT and company safety regulations. Responsibilities: Transport hazardous materials in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies. Safely operate and maintain company trucks and equipment. Perform local and regional deliveries with two nights out per week on the road. Maintain accurate logs and records of deliveries, inspections, and hours of service using ELD systems. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure smooth deliveries. Handle freight securely to prevent spills, contamination, or damage. Adhere to all safety and compliance requirements, including PPE use. Qualifications: Valid CDL Class A license with Hazmat (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements. Minimum 2 years of CDL Class A driving experience, preferably with hazardous materials. Clean driving record with no major violations. Ability to operate manual transmission trucks. Familiarity with DOT and FMCSA regulations. Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety.
