1 project Manager: a Must be 100% fluent in French and English as second language b Must have ability to drive tractor / shunt truck and may be expected to sub in as needed or required c He will be domiciled working directly at Client where there will be a desk for him. WK will provide phone and laptop d His normal hours would be M-F from 7am to 3 e As a manager he is on salary so if there ais additional time for him to work he will be expected to do so f His primary responsibilities are: i. Ensure the shunters are remaining productive ii. Be the direct liaison between Client’s plant office and Shunters iii. Be the direct liaison for the drivers and everything Wheel King iv. He sign off on weekly timesheets for the drivers confirming their hours and what trailers were shunted (we need to know each trailer because that is how we are paid) v. He will arrange all PM and service for shunt trucks and PM schedules for any of our local tractors servicing Client etc., vi. He may be asked to assist with the Kruger shunt startup if awarded (it is literally a few miles away from Client) vii. He will be asked to think of ways to improve the shunt process at Client and report back to us any potential continuous improvement ideas that he may have that without sacrificing service or safety viii. He will be responsible for scheduling replacement drivers should one of the dedicated driver be ill, on vacation or are not productive ix. From time to time he may be asked to come to Toronto for management meetings x. Ensure that the drives are obeying by the WK Big Six shunt specific safety protocols 3 Also, when you are their please follow up with the Kenworth dealership in Sherbrooke as they are licensed to provide all warrantee work as the shunt trucks are equipped with Cummings engines. We will also want them to provide mobile PM service 1 x monthly at Client (primarily oil, grease and filters).
