Additional Requirements: Good MVR and Work History Must pass DOT Physical & Drug Screening Must know how to operate manual transmission Valid Class A driver’s license required 2 years proven experience with tractor-trailer driving preferred Experience in various states and weather conditions Document and log daily work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts and submit reports Time management skills and punctuality Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately Manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle at the beginning and end of the shift and report any problems or damage to management Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions Collect and verify delivery instructions Report all defects, accidents or violations'
