Truck Driver Job in Chicopee, Massachusetts

Job Duties: • Will pull 48ft to 53 refrigeration trailers • Maneuver the trailer around busy streets, businesses, and tight spaces • Perform daily yard checks • Responsible for hand loading and un-loading refer • Use a hand-dolly for heavier loads or pallet if necessary or available • Operate a hand-held computer to log and track orders daily • Communicate with other departments and drivers daily • Be on time with delivery schedules • Additional duties may be assigned Minimum Qualifications and Requirements: • Previous experience delivering and/or transporting food using a refrigeration trailer • Previous experience operating a yard horse • Minimum of 2-years’ experience within last 3 years • Must have a valid CDL Class A License and valid DOT Medical Card • Must have a clean MVR • Truck/trailer and maneuver amongst city buildings and traffic • Must be able to lift 50lbs daily and throughout the shift • Must have excellent customer service when dealing with business customers • Must pass pre-employment drug screen, DOT Physical and a job function/road test
