Truck Driver Job in Stuart, Florida

XGD Systems group of companies offers drainage, restoration & construction services for golf courses & sports fields in Canada and the United States. We are currently looking for a Full-time truck driver. The position requires long and short hauls as well as some cross border work between USA and Canada, moving XGD heavy equipment from project to project. Our ideal candidate will have the following skills/experience: Experience with US/ Canada border crossings travels within Ontario and the Eastern portion of the US. knowledge of the operation of heavy equipment including loaders, dozers, tractors, skid steers, etc.. (for loading and unloading). knowledge of load securement regulations. willingness to travel for extended periods( 2-3 weeks at a time). motivated, courteous and organized. reliable and able to meet the demands of project schedules. knowledge of Big Road ELD software an asset. Organization and administrative experience required including; Daily journals. Communicate with office and job sites. Valid CDL CLASS – A with 3 years experience. Current DOT physical exam. and pass a pre-employment drug test. clean driving abstract. A can-do attitude and willingness to be part of a team. Legally able to work in the USA and cross the Canadian border an asset. Strict adherence to XGD Systems Drug and alcohol-Free work policy. Timeliness. A criminal check is required prior to employment. We work the I-75/I-95 corridors. This is a full-time position with Nightly Per Diem and benefit eligibility after 3 month probation period.
