Truck Driver Job in North Richland Hills, Texas

We are looking for an experienced over the road truck driver - long distance deliveries for Semi Truck Responsibilities · Manage freight hauling pickup and deliveries Over the Road (OTR) estimated 7-10 days away from home - not local deliveries -Option available to run local loads one week out the month, home every night · Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts · Input “macros” into our automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process · Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures · Ability to operate liftgate and pallet jack and possible driver assist needed · 1099 / random drug testing Skills · Proven work experience as an Over the Road (OTR)/ interstate truck driver - Not local routes · Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS & ELD) · Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly · Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations · No recent moving or driving violations · Excellent communication and customer service skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision · Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.) Compensation Commission 25% of Loads/ 28% when total weekly loads amount to more than $4k $50 nightly hotel allowance while OTR Major holidays off Job Types: Full-time, Commission 1099
