Givens Transportation Divers are Over the Road (OTR) drivers who are out for 5 days at a shot and home most weekends. As a Givens Driver, you will be running the East Coast East of the Mississippi River. You will be delivering various commodities including Honda motorcycles, Honda power equipment, Cummins Diesel as well as other assigned loads. You will touch freight on some deliveries which involve hooking chains to crates and they use a forklift to tailgate the load, and moving some pallets to the rear of the trailer and the warehouse takes it from there. Our fleet is a modern Kenworth fleet with an average age of the trucks at 4 years old. We are transitioning to an automatic fleet but still have a few stick shifts. Every truck has an APU, refrigerator, PrePass, EZPass as well as truck based GPS. You are assigned the truck so you set it up how you want.
