Truck Driver Job in Washington, Iowa

Local truck driver with Class A CDL and clean driving record. Duties could include: Feed hauling within southeast Iowa Ingredient hauling to our feed milling facility - within 120 mile radius of Washington Livestock hauling between sites or to processing plant - within 150 mile radius of Washington Seasonal tanker transportation of manure to fields for application. We are looking for someone who is Attentive to detail - prepares truck for operation by inspecting general condition; checking fluid levels and tire pressure; requesting required repairs; validating adherence to roadability standards. Good with directions - delivers items by identifying destinations; establishing route; operating the truck; unloading items; maintaining schedule. Prudent - Maintains truck operating efficiency by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; scheduling repairs. Safe - Maintains safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations Compliant - Maintains delivery, truck, and driving records; completing driver log and truck performance forms. Flexible - Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
