Job Posting — Long Haul Truck Driver Hiring Company: Tisdale Trucking Ltd. Position: Long Haul Truck Driver Start Date: ASAP Job Type: Full Time; Permanent Job Description and Qualifications: Tisdale Trucking Ltd. is seeking 5 full-time permanent Long Haul Truck Drivers. Main duties of the job will include: • Operating and driving tractor-trailer vehicles to transport goods and materials over distances short and long, national and international; • Operating GPS and other navigational equipment; • Planning trip logistics and performing pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection of vehicle, vehicle systems, and equipment; • Ensuring cargo being transported is secured and following safety procedures for transporting all goods; • Recording travel and cargo information, including hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption, and preparing bills of lading and log books; • Maintaining accident or incident reports, maintenance and repair reports, dangerous goods occurrence reports; • Communicating with dispatcher and/or other drivers. Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience and must have a valid passport. Must have Air Brakes Endorsement, AZ Class License, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, and Driver’s License (Class 1 or A). Must be willing to travel cross-border, and travel overnight. Education: No formal education requirement. Location of Work: Company is based in Bubartown, New Brunswick. Driving required across Canada and the United States of America. Wage: $0.47 cents per mile driven as base salary. Approximately $1200 - $... CAD gross pay per week. Potential for additional pay for unloading, loading, wait time, etc. Benefits: 4% vacation pay; group medical insurance after 3 months of work; paid Sirius radio for truck; paid annual drug test fee.
