Rollex Transport Ltd., an Abbotsford based trucking company, is actively seeking dedicated truck drivers to join our fleet. We are looking for drivers to operate our units throughout Western Canada, as well as Eastern Canada. Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.): Air Brake Endorsement Class 1 License (Semi-trailer trucks) Experience: Minimum of 2-years super-b/flatbed experience with 18 speed manual transmission Communication Systems Experience: Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment Documentation Skills: Must have knowledge of driver logbook, bill of lading, maintenance and repair, reports inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), accident or incident reports, trip reports Specific Skills: Perform emergency roadside repairs Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials Perform brake adjustments Load and unload goods Transport and handle dangerous goods Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption Receive and relay information to central dispatch Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment Weight Handling: Physically capable of occasionally lifting up to 100lbs Security and Safety: Criminal Record Check Medical Exam Drug Testing Driving Record Check Driver’s Validity License Check Reference required from previous employer(s).
