Truck Driver Job in New Windsor, New York

Job Type: 1099 position Salary: 20 to 25% of gross depending on experience Responsibilities: • Safely operate a tractor-trailer truck (dry van) • Properly track and document activity log • Report any issues or incidents to dispatch • Pre-trip and post-trip inspections of truck • Collect and verify delivery instructions • Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions Qualifications: • Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields • Preferred minimum 1 year over the road or CDL tractor - trailer driving experience • Must possess a valid Class A Commercial driver's license (traffic, weather conditions) • Able to operate electronic equipment and software (GPS, ELD) • Able to pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen and background check • Must be punctual, responsible and a good communicator
