Truck Driver Job in Columbus, Georgia

L & Y Logistics is looking for a licensed truck driver who will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to our customers. You will be tasked with driving and maintaining trucks that will be assigned to you, as well as working closely with our team in order to plan routes and track deliveries. Hazmat and other endorsements are a plus. Home time can be arranged weekly. This is not a local driving position, over the road only. Truck Driver Responsibilities: Drive long distance to deliver goods to customers Record cargo deliveries Follow traffic laws Perform truck inspections and report issues Keep an activities log and log hours using ELD Truck Driver Requirements: Class A CDL Must have 1 year verifiable over the road experience Must have clean MVR/driving record Must pass drug and alcohol test Must provide a current medical certificate Current TWIC Must have Flatbed experience Due to COVID-19 employees are required to keep trucks clean and sanitized.
