CDL Driver Richmond, VI $5k bonus 1st year – guaranteed Flat daily rate starting at $157.60 combined with 3-tier mileage pay: - 0-49,999 miles = .22 cents - 50,000-7... cents - 75,000 and up = .30 cents - 3% performance bonus paid at the end of the year based on: 1. no speeding violations, 2. no preventable accidents, & 3. clean DOT inspections. - Ennis pays $50.00 for every clean DOT inspection on the payroll check following inspection. - Co. also pays $40.00 if there are any tarps required for a backhaul. • What type of truck? Currently operating 2015 Freightliner X12564ST. Typically renew leases every 5 years; Flatbed trucks. • How many nights away from home per week? - Dependent on orders & time of year; Average 2 or 3 nights per week. - Drivers are off most weekends depending on freight schedules! - Co is considered regional, however they have the ability to send drivers “long” as well. - Pending customer orders typically drivers are home a couple nights during the week & every weekend. That being said … more miles, more pay. • Little to no freight handling; Drivers are required to secure load; straps are generally all that’s needed. • Contents of load transported? Typically “paint” in either cage poly or steel totes. • Candidates DO NOT need to be Hazmat or Tanker certified upon starting. Co. will pay for them to be certified within the 1st 90 days of employment.
