Truck Driver Job in Conyers, Georgia

Job consist of mainly J.B Hunt and Schneider 53ft container mostly drop and hook freight with some 20ft and 40ft containers live load and unload , loads or out of Fairburn and Austell and delivered within a 100 mile radius of Atlanta ,normally shorter runs with multiple loads a day also move empty trailers to and from the customer which pays the same as a loaded trailer move would pay ,Monday through Friday work week home daily and some weekend available work if you request it but not mandatory. Pay is 50/50 split after all deductions for driver and myself, I pay for all maintenance on truck, truck is parked in a secure gated property here in Conyers Ga less than a mile from I-20 and about 35 miles from Fairburn and Austell terminals ,agent is a small family out of Hazlehurst Ga with less then 10 drivers and they treat us all like family and there is no forced dispatch. Qualifications for this 1099 position. Meet DOT stardards and qualifications Minimum of 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past 5 years No more than 3 minor violations and 0 accidents in the last 3 years No more than 2 minor violations and 1 accident in the last 3 years Satisfactory background check
