Truck Driver Job in Chester, Virginia

I just purchase trucks and find CDL drivers who are willing to drive them and essentially we would operate as an Owner Operator for other companies. I don't do any forced dispatches, meaning it is completely up to the driver how much work they take on and how much money we can make as a team. I have worked with a few different 3PL’s who have different requirements for accepting drivers, which makes it somewhat flexible as far as requirements for the drivers such as driving history, experience and so on. However, we are typically looking for drivers who have no accidents or reckless/careless driving violations within the last 3 years, 2 years of experience within the last 5 years and no DUI’s. I normally do a 60/40 split of whatever the truck makes, paid weekly to my drivers via direct deposit, my drivers usually see between $1,000 - ... a week, sometimes more just depends on how much work the driver is willing to take on. I handle all maintenance and service of the trucks, all I ask of my drivers is to take care of the truck, communicate as needed and are willing and motivated to work. I also offer a $1600 signing bonus($200 paid after first successful load, $700 paid at 30 days and the remaining $700 paid after 60 days), quarterly performance bonus and also holiday bonuses when driving during holidays or holiday weekends.
