Truck Driver Job in San Diego, California

If that sounds like you, join the team! We are seeking an experienced OTR Driver to work 5-7 days consecutively. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Safely operating a Semi Truck to pick up and deliver freight within a defined long-haul area. - Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and when stopped en route. - Preparing and inspecting the trailer. Light trailer cleaning as needed. - Reviewing invoice for special instructions. - Communicating concerns or issues promptly - Comfortable working with a smaller company. - ** Flexible, hard working and a great problem solver. COMPENSATION: - Management team who actively listens to your wants and needs. - GET PAID FOR ALL WORKING HOURS - Weekly Pay $20 per hour for drive time, load time and detention time leading to an average of $1000 per roundtrip route. - Eligible for a raise at 6 months - Safety Bonuses and other bonuses - 2 Paid Holidays during first year. 4 Paid Holidays the second year. - Paid Sick Time. - We do Not offer Medical benefits at this time. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - Able to pass a drug test. - 21 years or older - 3 years of CDL experience preferred, 2 year required - Clean MVR. No tickets or accidents in last 3 years. - Valid medical card. - Ability to lift up to 70 pounds - Good communicator. Must be comfortable with calling and texting as needed. - Read, write and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway and traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, read a bill of lading.
