As one of our drivers, you will have the opportunity to visit diverse locations within the state, getting a taste of the local flavor everywhere you go. Aside from daily reports to Your supervising manager, you will enjoy freedom and independence on the road. If you demonstrate continued success, you will also get the chance to undergo additional pay in form of incentives, additional training, as well as an opportunity to move up within the company. Job Responsibilities • Inspect and evaluate equipment prior to each leg of journey to ensure road readiness and ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies. • Follow and maintain loading and unloading protocols, using chains and binders to secure skid-steer throughout trips • Contribute to company data by honestly recording times of delivery and hours worked • Open to learn to operate a dump truck and skid steer/ bobcat • Unload Debris at designated landfills • Assist with cleaning up debris around the dumpsters, picking up debris around the bin, when needed during pick up • Always adhere to traffic safety regulations, exercise caution in treacherous circumstances and report unsafe vehicle or road conditions to supervisors and highway authorities • Use GPS to stay informed of route information, and communicate with supervisors and colleagues
