Deejay's Trucking is a dump truck company based in Durham, NC. We provide hauling services throughout Raleigh, Durham, and the surrounding areas. Applicants must have: • Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) • Active DOT Medical Card • Be able to drive and operate a tri-axle or quint axle dump truck • The ability to operate manual transmission (8 or 10 speed transmission) is preferred • Experience hauling and unloading asphalt: • Minimum CDL experience of 2 years • Proof of job history with references • Self-motivated • Available to drive during the nighttime shift periodically between 8:00pm and 5:00am Responsibilities and duties: • Prompt delivery • Maneuver truck loaded and unloaded safely • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections • Push, pull, or lift in excess of 50 pounds • Applicants must be able to get into the back of the dump truck beds to make sure all material is clean before and after each shift. • Ensure the truck is always clean and in a safe operating condition. • Complete and submit all required logs/paperwork. • Able to stand or sit for long periods of time and maintain compliance with Federal and State Departments of Transportation (DOT) regulations. • Must be authorized to work in the United States. • Motivated hard-working individuals who work well in a team environment.
