Truck Driver Job in Fremont, California

We have been a family business since 1994 and our drivers have always been treated as family. Our drivers don't leave us once they find us! The driver will be using the same equipment each day, and will be home each night. Starting pay is $28 per hour. We offer sick days, medical plan or allowance, and vacation days after 6 months. Responsibilities & Duties: - Dependable & consistent attendance - Safe operation of all equipment - Deliver & pick up products to/from our valued customers - Make sure loads are properly secured using straps, chains, or other resources - Maintain valid driving credentials - Knowledge of commercial vehicle rules & regulations - Comply with all DOT and CHP regulations - Perform pre-trip, in route and post-trip inspections on all equipment - Be professional and courteous with customers, supervisors and fellow employees - Follow company procedures for documentation/ signatures for pick up and delivery of products - Maintain contact with dispatch for delivery instructions - Follow all company policies, including safety and drug and alcohol policies - Report mechanical/equipment defects immediately - Ability to lift up to 75 lbs - Other duties as necessary Qualifications & Skills: - Must have California Class A Drivers License - Current Medical Card - Pass mandated drug test - Minimum one year experience - Clean DMV record (no DUIs/no accidents) Please email your resume, DMV print-out, driving experience and contact information at info @ endeavourstorage.....
