We have great OTR dedicated routes from Phoenix to GA, TX, FL & NC Working 7/8 days and home weekly for a 34 hour rest No Touch Freight * All sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions pulling 53” dry trailers * W2 / 1099 * 1 Pick / 1 Drop Responsibilities: * Inspect vehicles for mechanical items, safety issues & perform preventative maintenance * Document & log work/rest periods & miles spent driving & retain fuel/toll receipts * Comply with truck driving rules & regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking & break periods) as well as with company policies & procedures * Manoeuvre trucks into loading or unloading positions * Collect & verify delivery instructions * Report defects, accidents or violations Skills: * Proven work experience as a truck driver * Ability to driver long hours and travel regularly * Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules & regulations * Adaptability & foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc) * The ability to communicate in a positive, effective manner with customers, co-workers & dispatch/managers Requirements: * Must be at least 23 years old * Must possess a valid Class A CDL * Valid DOT Medical Certification Required * 1 year min experience in truck driving * Safe driving record – no recent moving or driving violations
