Truck Driver Job in Chino, California

We are a family owned and operated delivery service. We provide white-glove delivery service for a premium mattress retailer in Orange County. We are currently seeking a dependable and efficient Class C Box Truck (Bobtail) driver who possess a great deal of physical and mental stamina, who is able to operate satisfactorily with a partner. Job is based in Chino, routes within Orange County and LA County. The ideal candidate must be organized, detail oriented, customer service oriented, and comfortable working with a partner. A clean driving record and commercial experience is a must. Job Description: • Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner • Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, accurate and the customer is satisfied. • Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles • Providing excellent customer service by answering questions within your scope and directing to the appropriate department when out of your scope. • Adhering to assigned route and following time schedules • Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record • Preparing documents and other paperwork related to deliveries • Must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs alone, more than 75 lbs with a partner and/or lifting devices Driving Requirements: • Safely drive a 16–26-foot delivery truck with lift gate • MUST be at least 25 years old per insurance carrier • Valid Class C Drivers License • NO tickets, accidents, DUI’s or suspensions in last 8 years • Bi-Lingual in English/Spanish, preferred Professional Behavior Expectation: • MUST have positive, respectful attitude towards ownership, colleagues, and customers. We have ZERO tolerance for unprofessional behavior. Must be able to work with management in a professional and respectful manner and follow directives given by supervisors. • Arrive to work on time every day in uniform. Excellent attendance is required • Work week is 40 hours with potential for OT, Saturdays are a REQUIRED work day • Must be able to provide documentation showing legal right to work. W2 position, pays weekly
