Greenwood Transport & Logistics is seeking a CDL Class-A truck driver in the Atlanta and surrounding areas. Applicants will need to have a minimum of 6 months recent experience with no at fault accidents and no more than two moving violations in the last three years. We are a premier company looking to grow from a small fleet to a medium sized fleet, and we need YOUR help to do it! We have newer equipment, and friendly and experienced dispatch. We are looking for drivers that can stay on the road for a minimum of 5 days at a time. Average pay is $1300 to $1800 a week, PLUS $1000 SIGN ON BONUS. CDL Truck Driver Responsibilities: - Inspect truck before and after each trip, notify dispatch of any issues. - Safely drive and operate a tractor-trailer truck while following local laws and regulations. - Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. - Plan driving routes out, be punctual, and meet delivery schedules with 95% no touch freight. - Be courteous and professional at all times: While driving, speaking to dispatch/coworkers and to customers. - Immediately report any issues or incidents to dispatch during the trip. CDL Truck Driver Qualifications: - Valid Class A commercial driver’s license - Minimum 6 months experience with driving semi tractor-trailer trucks - No major traffic violations, and not more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years - Must be proactive, possess a strong work ethic, have the ability to make good decisions, and properly trip plan. - Must have the ability to effectively communicate if issues arise during trips, and to be punctual and on time with load drop offs. - Must prioritize safety while operating a vehicle.
