What we offer YOU! • Sign on Bonus: 15,000 •... weekly, paid biweekly • 2 drivers per truck • Short haul regional loads • Dedicated route: University, IL to Chattanooga, TN • Full Time • 4-day workweek • Paid Vacation after 6 months • Insurance after 90 days • Monday – Friday, OFF weekends Job Duties and Responsibilities • Operates vehicle in accordance with OSHA (Occupational and Safety Health Act) and DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements as well as all local, state and federal laws. • Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle and documents checks utilizing the standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report). • Immediately reports all unsafe situations or service-related issues to Route Manager or Dispatcher. • Attends and participates in all scheduled trainings, briefings, and meetings as required by Black Wall Logistics or directed by Route Manager. • Works closely with Route Manager to improve route efficiencies and identify best practices. • Notifies Route Manager of any incidents, accidents, injures, or property damage. • Follows route assignments as directed • Performs all duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatcher and assists other. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Problem solving • Some mechanical knowledge • Excellent communication skills • Highly detail oriented • Read, write and speak in English Minimum Requirements • Class A CDL • 21 years or older • 1 year of verifiable Class A CDL truck driving experience (within last 3 years) • Must Live within 100 miles from South Bend, IN 46628
