Independent Contractor is seeking highly motivated and energetic Class A CDL Truck Drivers for Full-Time and Part-Time positions that will provide the best possible delivery of our customers’ freight for FedEx Ground & Amazon with a few other companies. Class A CDL Truck Driver’s Qualifications: An experienced commercial driver with 1 year of tractor-trailer driving in the last 3 years Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen Must have a clean motor vehicle record Must be able to pass a criminal background check Ability to work as a Team Member Class A CDL Truck Driver’s Responsibilities: Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment Hook/Unhook trailers and converter dollies to/from a tractor and/or trailer Verify and complete required documentation and reports Maintain accurate daily logs Follow dispatch instructions and communicate with dispatch (e.g. delays, arrivals, equipment problems), as required Demonstrate internal and external customer service May be required to perform changing of vehicle tires Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures Basic written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.) Class A CDL Truck Driver’s Benefit Weekly Pay Home weekly Family-oriented company Healthcare benefits – BCBSNC Paid vacation & holiday 100% drop/hook from terminal to terminal – NO TOUCH FREIGHT Company provides uniforms New equipment – nothing more than 2 years old Trucks fully loaded – SiriusXM radio, power inverters, refrigerators, microwaves, Qualcomm elogs Weekly Truck Maintenance Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Salary: $1,000.00 to $1,500.00 /week
