We are a small family-oriented company that takes care of our drivers.

We’re looking for a safe CDL OTR (independent contractor) in the Metro Atlanta, or the surrounding area with at least 2 years of OTR driving experience; a responsible and courteous driver who values a predictable schedule. At J & W Trucking we make safety our number one priority, which is reflected in our impeccable safety record. Our fleet is maintained with dedicated precision. We pay a percentage per load and weekly.

We deliver loads for various companies throughout the United States.

Truck Driver Responsibilities

· Observe and report equipment/mechanical failures immediately

· Manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible

· Conserve resources, such as fuel, to benefit the business

· Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public.

· Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle before and after each shift and report any problems or damage to management

· Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules

Truck Driver Qualifications and Skills

· High school diploma/GED required

· Class A driver’s license in good standing

· 1099

· % of Load Pay

· Weekly Pay

· No serious tickets, accidents, or violations in last 3 yrs.

· No DWI/DUI within last 10 yrs.

· 2 or more yrs. experience

MUST HAVE A GOOD MVR..... are looking to hire someone as soon as possible.

Good MVR and clean background Required
Ready to do drug test.
Clean Criminal Background.

On the road
Willing to stay 10-14 days OTR if necessary, to maximize income (no local runs and no option every weekend home)
