Truck Driver Job in Torrington, Connecticut

Job Description Would you like to be a part of an amazing team but still work independently? With locations in 7 different states our automatic pool cover company is growing! We are in need of an experienced truck driver with a CDL-A License to transport freight from our main location in Thomaston, CT to our warehouses, extending from Massachusetts to Virginia. Transportation routes would remain essentially the same on a Monday thru Friday schedule. You would be driving a company owned semi-truck and flat-bed trailer. Travel expenses would be paid by the company. This is a full-time salaried position with many additional benefits including medical, dental and vision. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who is open to multi-state travel during the week with weekends off. Job Responsibilities: • Move freight from our main location to our seven service centers • Make deliveries as needed to our larger customers • Prepare freight to be transported • Unload product and receive in our internal software • Report on service center conditions • Assist as able to organize service centers Job Requirements: • CDL-A License • Minimum experience of 2-years driving regionally • Reliable and Trustworthy • Must be at least 21-years of age • Heavy lifting plus bending and twisting • Works well independently • Must be flexible and easy-going • Able to properly load a trailer, balance and properly secure a load Job Type: Full-time Pay Scale 75,000 to 85,000 dependent on experience
