Truck Driver Job in Van Nuys, California

Our company is looking for a delivery driver to work from 7:00pm to 3:00am 3 nights per week. Responsibilities: The job requires arriving at our Food Plant in Van Nuys at 7:00pm. Preparing pallets with cases of food from our walk-in cooler. Loading the pallets of food on the truck. Closing up the plant. Driving from Van Nuys to Fontana (60 minutes). Arriving, lining up at the cross dock and waiting for about 1.5 to 2 hours before it is our turn at the warehouse. Backing the truck into the dock. Unloading the pallets and processing paperwork (getting signatures). Driving the truck to pickup empty crates/baskets/pallets from a 2nd warehouse and returning to Van Nuys. Closing up and leaving. This is a simple job where we need someone long-term and VERY reliable. Commercial drivers license NOT required. Qualifications: - Min 2 years experience working the graveyard shift - Min 2 years experience driving a 26ft box truck - Clean driving record (No traffic violations in the past 2 years) - Ability to handle physical workload (Able to lift 40lbs) Job Type: Part-time
