Drivers unload their entire trailer (up to 1300 cases) by hand using a two wheel dolly to walk product down a ramp into the customer facility. • Safely operate straight truck or tractor trailer on assigned route. • Maintain controls and monitor temperatures, cooler, and dry compartments of the trailer. • Maintain a high level of customer service. This includes but is not limited to writing credits, correcting problems, providing customer with their order quickly, on time and placed within the proper area. • Communicate quickly, clearly, and precisely on all customer service issues. • Complete all necessary forms legibly and on time. • Collect on deliveries for selected accounts. • Driver must be available for overnight routes (routes generally range from 10-36 hours), some routes require weekend hours. • Change/adjust equipment to ensure legal distribution • Understand, embrace, and encourage the fulfillment of our Mission Statement with all associates. • Perform other duties as assigned. Physical Demands: • Conduct a great deal of physical work in all types of weather conditions. • Walking, lifting (up to 75lbs), bending, twisting, and walking a loaded (250-500lbs) dolly down a 20 foot ramp and into customer location. • Driving safely in all kinds of weather and traffic conditions. • Warehouse environment with noise, dust, odors, and a diversity from very warm to very cold temperatures. • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Experience and Qualifications: The following are minimal qualifications that our applicants will need to meet.  High School diploma preferred or GED accepted.  Class A CDL.  Ability to pass drug screen and DOT physical.  While a clean MVR is preferred, less than perfect driving records will be fairly considered.  New CDL drivers are encouraged to apply.  Available to work weekends and travel on overnight routes.  Ability to read and complete various forms and records as required.  Drivers must be able to conduct themselves in an appropriate business manner at all times under all conditions with customers, general public and co-workers.
