Truck Driver Job in Cincinnati, Ohio

Position Summary: We are seeking reliable, qualified, and customer service orientated Class A/B Truck Drivers to become part of an excellent team. This is considered a high touch freight position. Route and Daily Activity -- The ideal candidates will be responsible for products to company owned stores and some outside customers. Drivers are required to unload at each stop typically using an electric or manual pallet jack and/or a hand truck. This may involve moving and rearranging freight at each stop. Drivers are responsible to load or unload using a lift gate is at some stops. Some stores may be open during delivery. Normal hours are Monday through Friday starting at 4:30 or 5pm, with a typical end time of 2 to 4am. Some Saturdays are required as needed. Ideal candidates are responsible for loading and unloading at each stop and taking the products into the store and placing it in the correct locations. Candidates are required to report defects, accidents, traffic violations, and property damage before and after each shift, fill out all company and DOT required paperwork including Daily Vehicle Inspections and Log Books. Drivers are responsible for correct delivery at each stop. Requires attention to detail to identify store numbers from paperwork and match to each store delivery. Drivers are responsible for the entire route. Requirements: At least 23 years of age. CDL Class A or B Required Ability to pass a background check (including past employment, education, and criminal history), Pre-Employment Drug Test with periodic testing after employment and pass a DOT physical. At least 2 years of verifiable experience of Straight Truck or Tractor-Trailer driving in the past 5 years. A clean MVR with no more than 2 violations in the past 2 years. Hazmat endorsement a plus but not required. High School Diploma or equivalent required. The team member must regularly lift and /or move up to 25lbs/12kg, frequently lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg.
