Truck Driver Job in Takoma Park, Maryland

CDL Drivers are a key part of our moves and relocations because HCR often needs the help on large scale projects. It is Health Care Relocations initiative to find hard-working, courteous members of the local community to help on these projects. We are currently hiring CDL Drivers to help with the relocation of Washington Adventist Hospital during August 9th to August 28th. Below is a brief breakdown of this position: This job does not require heavy lifting and is not physically demanding. Drivers will be operating a 5-Ton Penske truck and driving locally between two locations. Drivers will help relay medical supplies and equipment from the current location to a new location. Drivers must have their CDL license and be able to keep a log via a Penske App. The most important skill for a driver to have is to be professional and courteous and ready to help when needed. Most days are from 8am to 4pm with some days running longer or shorter depending on the day. Drivers should be available for full days during the entire duration of the move, this includes weekends. This is a temporary contract position offering $25 per hour. Drivers will receive payment upon completion of the move.
