Truck Driver in Edmonton, Alberta

I am a First Nations female, I’ve been in road construction for 3 years driving Rock Truck, Semi & Tamdum end dump trailers,Water Truck, Operating Packers for base and seal coat on highway, hauling , 5”, 3”, 2”, A Base, C Base, Fines, sand, composite, Asphalt, boulders. Doing manual labour I’ve Lifted over 200 unit doors weighing 80lbs a piece, carrying between two people, and had to handle them at least 4 times each, it took 2 and 1/2 days until job was completed. I’ve driven on the winter road to Pukatawagan, MB in my own half-ton truck transporting passengers and groceries and freight for many years I have lots of experience driving in harsh unfavourable conditions. I’m looking for a long term job, I would like to stay with one company and grow there and become a better operator and learn as much as I can, I enjoy driving and working manually, I try work smart and ergonomic to help not only myself but others, I like safety a lot, I do like to be safe and try keep others safe as well, we all want to go home at the end of the day in one piece, I want a reliable job that’s not gonna be just seasonal, I want to go home at the end of each day not camp, I work good as a team or unsupervised, I don’t take flack from the boys, I work just as hard, if not harder then them. Love to learn new things about construction .
