Truck Driver in Allentown, Pennsylvania

I'm an
Individual
I am currently working as a flex diver. That being said, I have no steady schedule to suggest as the best time to reach me. However, my best time of day is anytime after 12 pm. I am located in Allentown PA. I'm looking to work a 3 - 4 day work week (30 - 45 hours) Monday - Thursday, occasional Sundays with start times between 11 AM and 4 PM. Willing to do some overnight layovers. Dry van only. No touch-fraight or flatbed. With a name like Smith, presenting as a well-rounded individual demands an eclectic lifestyle, with diversification. My transportation-related pursuits have brought me through all 49 of the contiguous states, as well as Canada. As a life-long resident of New York City, I am well versed with inner city navigation, along with the variety of travel challenges required in the tri-state and Northeast areas. The entertainment chapters of my life began at age six, when I was fortunate enough to win six consecutive DJ Battles and connect with a prominent person in the industry, who mentored me, for a period of 3 years. His guidance opened the door into terrestrial radio, where I was hired by KISS FM radio station at age 16, the youngest DJ ever hired. That preparation later placed me in some popular night clubs, where I gained some notice, as well as a few DJ assignments on cruise ships. The radio experience came at a time when computers were becoming more mainstream and were being integrated into numerous industries. Being able to use a computer to manage music selections led to learning how to create and manage a web site. That knowledge gave birth to me creating the first Internet radio station, i.e., Flying Over New York (FONYE) Radio, in 1999. Although my family was proud of me and my accomplishments, they strongly encouraged me to get a "real" job. That turned-out to be in the computer field, with specializations in networking and break-fix end user assistance. Interacting with an eclectic array of people has made life interesting. I have been exposed to inter-generational people, from many cultures, and I appreciate that each group has a unique perspective on things. I appreciate the energy and enthusiasm that is present with the college-aged millennial generation, which includes my two also-diversified sons. 9-2-5 sounds like a respectable lot number on a local street, but is not my preference for a workday schedule. Due to me balancing all of my several trades, I definitely prefer afternoons, nights, part-time or flexible shifts and would welcome the opportunity to schedule an interview with you, for your driver position.
