My Home base is Atlanta, GA and I am available for OTR for 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 weeks or daily jobs up to 12 hours/day Upfront Pricing based on per day with maximum of 12 hours/day or weekly rate based on "UNLIMITED" miles per week: Daily Rate of $175/day includes 12 hours/day Weekly Rate of $550/week includes unlimited miles/week Daily and Weekly rates include: Long Haul/OTR and Dedicated lanes Lumper ride along with driver I am a highly efficient drivers' helper to assist owner operators O/O, company drivers, and Load Broker Drivers with all deliveries. My responsibilities include loading and unloading freight/products by hand or by use of hand trucks; collecting all rejected products upon approval by customer service and ensuring that the delivery vehicle is clean at all times. I will also be able to build and maintain solid inter-departmental relationships to ensure effective communication. As a Lumper and Drivers helper I will be responsible for OTR compliance so we are never placed in OUT OF SERVICE STATUS.. Driver Helper Responsibilities: Loading and unloading truck Assisting drivers to find pickup and delivery locations. Best route navigation for pickup and delivery so we always arrive on-time or ahead of schedule. Compiling accurate delivery records and reports. Reporting all delivery-related problems to you the driver and to senior staff. Effectively communicating with clients and customers to resolve complaints. Liaising with the Load Broker, main office or the warehouse logistics team to notify the driver of any changes to daily routes. Obtaining customers’ signatures as an acknowledgment of having received the load. Ensuring that safety policies and procedures are followed Loading and unloading; Pre-trip and post trip inspections of truck; Navigation to ensure best routes and on-time arrivals; Maintain ELDs and paper logs; Clean vehicle for next load; Search load boards for loads; Communicate negotiate with Load Brokers to get new loads; Refuel truck with fuel and check refill fluids.
